Biography
Jeanna Mortimer is a Russian-speaking film and TV editor based in London. The documentary short film "Anastasia" (Director Sarah McCarthy), which she edited, was selected for TIFF, Telluride Film Festival, and DOC NYC, and was shortlisted for the 2023 Oscars. She developed her craft working in the editorial departments of well-loved films and TV shows including "About Time," "Listen to Me Marlon," "The Death of Stalin," and "A Very English Scandal." Recent credits include the feature documentary "After the Rain: Putin's Stolen Children Come Home" (Director Sarah McCarthy), "Margarita" (Director Mathew Dyas, produced by George Chignell for Arte/Blue Ant Media), and a short documentary directed by Alice Smirnova. Jeanna is a graduate of the Theatre Directing program at Chelyabinsk Academy of Culture and Arts, Russia, and holds an MA in Filmmaking from Goldsmiths College, London.
