Biography

Oliver Williams is a Production Designer working on features and high-end television. He trained in architecture at Oxford Brookes and has spent twelve years in the art department, rising from assistant to Senior Art Director. Most recently he was Senior Art Director on Blood Axe Season 2 for Amazon (Production Designer Frank Walsh) and Simon West's Fortitude (Production Designer Nigel Phelps). As Art Director he has worked with Arthur Max on Ridley Scott's Gladiator II, Kasra Farahani on Loki Season 2, Gavin Bocquet on Silo, Kevin Jenkins on Louis Leterrier's The Last House, and Gemma Jackson on Amy Sherman-Palladino's Eloise. Other credits include Jason Statham Stole My Bike, Fuze, The Continental, Bohemian Rhapsody and Fantastic Beasts. He designed the independent feature Adira's Dream, which he also wrote and directed, taking seven festival wins from thirteen nominations, along with a run of shorts and music videos. He works in Rhino 3D and leads the British Film Designers Guild's Rhino course. He sits on four Guild committees, and his grandfather, the art director Lawrence P. Williams (Brief Encounter), co-founded the Guild in 1946. He has worked in the UK, Ireland, Malta and Hungary.
