Biography

Suga Suppiah BFE is a multi-disciplinary editor working across documentary, narrative, music videos, and commercials. She started her career in factual entertainment and developed her editing style at Method Studios in Sydney, Australia, working on commercials, short films, and music videos. Since moving to London, she has edited numerous documentaries for Sky, worked as previs editor on "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," and cut music videos for artists including Olivia Dean and content for Apple, Nike, and Meta. Suga was selected as one of 20 for Women in Film and Television UK's Mentoring Program 2020, is a BAFTA Crew 20/21 and BAFTA Connect 2022-2025 member, was longlisted as a Film London Lodestar, and is a BFI Network alumna. Recent documentary credits include "The Great Horsemeat Scandal" (Director Henrietta Bennett, produced by Wonderhood Studios), "The Royal Kill List" (Director Alice Smith, 72 Films/Sky History), "House of Kardashian" (Director Katie Hindley, 72 Films/Sky), and "Mother Teresa: For the Love of God" (Director Ben Sanderson, Minnow Films/Sky) as additional editor.
